She was sure that her cat had not been sitting on the object before slinking out of her colourless, lifeless bedroom. Curiously, she cautiously approached the odd crimson object. Rosie thought to herself, “Who wouldn’t want to play with me? I have a great imagination but my games are no fun for just one person.”Īll of a sudden, from the corner of her eye, the lonely girl spotted a mysterious scarlet object lying in the corner of her room. Even Whiskers, her beloved, furry friend, didn’t have time for Rosie today. Sinking into the pillows, Rosie tried to control her emotions of loneliness and frustration. With tears in her eyes, Rosie fled to her bedroom. As predicted, Daisy shooed her away saying, “I’ve got two words for you: GO AWAY!”

Rosie kept her expectations low: Daisy was her last hope but she was also too arrogant to be interested in playing ball games. As she picked it up, she spied Daisy on the couch watching Netflix on her phone. Entering the room, she swapped the kite for a football. With a sigh, Rosie left dad’s voice behind and sluggishly wandered towards the living room. Sadly, she realised there was no point even trying as dad was busy in an important online interview. With hope, she silently approached her dad from behind whilst gripping tightly onto the kite.
